New Airline launched in Vietnam - Indochina Airlines
Indochina Airlines, the first privately owned Vietnamese Airline, was launched in November 2008 and currently flies routes Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/Danang. With a market position somewhere in between Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar providing low cost fares but still services such as drinks and newspapers on board, it is an airline worth keeping an eye on. It currently operates two Boeing B737 -800 planes with plans to have more domestic routes over the next year and open up international routes in 2 years time.
